Has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2014. He has been the President of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2014 and also operates in the companies within Grupo Mercantil do Brasil. He has been working in Grupo Mercantil for more than 38 years, especially in the commercial areas. He was responsible for the structuring, implementation, and overall management of the Corporate segment platforms. An expert in negotiations, he successfully conducted the recovery of significant loan operations. He played a prominent role in the corporate restructuring process of the conglomerate, acting as the main strategist in the negotiations that resulted in the shareholder’s agreement, allowing the organizational continuity and development of the institution. As Executive Vice President, he coordinated the actions of the Executive Boards, being responsible for the business management and development. He was responsible for the legal and corporate affairs area, which included planning, development, and definition of the strategic approach to defending the interests of the companies in the Mercantil do Brasil Conglomerate in civil, commercial, corporate, and labor areas, aiming to provide legal security to the business of the institution. He graduated in Business Administration from FUMEC in 1980 and Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in 1982.
Has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2020 and CEO of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2020. His main professional experiences in the last five years include financial planning and schedule management from FEL4 of Petrobras’ Replicantes Project. He was the Treasury and Finance Manager and Executive Director of Finance, Investor Relations, HR, and Marketing at Banco Mercantil do Brasil. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from UFMG, holds a specialization degree in Projects and Engineering applied to the oil and gas chain from Petrobras University, and completed a graduate degree in Financial Management, Controlling, and Auditing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He holds a Harvard Business School certificate in Business Analytics, Economics, and Financial Accounting with High Honors and Negotiation Mastery, as well as certifications in PMP, CNPI, and CGA. He is currently enrolled in the Global Banking Program at Columbia Business School.
Executive Director of Finance, Strategy, Operations, and Investor Relations of Mercantil since August 2021. Mr. Paulino Ramos Rodrigues has more than 18 years in leadership positions (CFO, COO, CIO, Director of Planning and Administration, IRO) in different sectors (banking, manufacturing, technology, beverages, agribusiness). He earned degrees from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, UFRGS, and FGV. In 2015, he was chosen as Latin America CIO of the Year. Paulino has been an executive in large companies such as Banco Cooperativo Sicredi and Confederação Sicredi, Teikon Tecnologia, Springer Carrier, and Coca-Cola. Between 2018 and 2019, he was the Investor Relations Officer at Banco Agibank S/A, where he also worked in Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance, and Treasury. Between 2020 and 2021, he served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Vibra Agroindustrial S/A, a company in the agribusiness sector in the animal protein segment.
Has been an Executive Director of Mercantil do Brasil since 2020. He is currently the Director of Technology, Products, and Back Office. He has over five years of experience in developing products and projects for financial institutions. His professional experiences in the last five years include active participation in the implementation of the Sicredi Woop digital platform, where he led the budget, product, and core banking areas. He also has experience in retail, leading the financial products, technology, and e-commerce areas. He graduated as the top student in Computer Science from ULBRA, holds a Master’s degree in Applied Computing from Unisinos, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, being nominated for the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and has a specialization degree in Banking, Fintech, and Analytics from Columbia University.
Has extensive experience in strategic management, customer experience, business development, and commercial management. Graduated in Civil Engineering from USP, with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, he worked for 16 years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a partner and manager. In recent years, he directly led the Institutions and Financial Operations front at BCG.
He has served as Executive Director of Controllership at Banco Mercantil since 2022. He is a member of the Risk, Compliance and Internal Controls, and Compensation Committees. He has extensive experience in the field of Controllership, having spent nearly 20 years at Banco Bradesco, where he advanced through all technical accounting positions, ultimately reaching the role of Chief Executive Manager. During his tenure, he participated in and led several key projects, including the consolidation of financial statements, the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the structuring of Bradespar, and the establishment of the Operational Efficiency Committee. He also worked for 11 years at Banco PAN, where he rose to the position of Executive Superintendent, leading and contributing to processes across Controllership, Tax, FP&A (forecasting), Operational Efficiency, Risk Management, among others. He was responsible for restructuring the Accounting division, spearheaded the implementation of IFRS 9 (international standard for financial assets and liabilities), and played a prominent role in discussions with the Central Bank of Brazil (Bacen) and industry associations regarding Resolution 4,966/21. In 2023, already at Banco Mercantil, he was recognized with the Anefac Professional Merit Award 2023, in the Controllership category, for his outstanding performance and credibility in the corporate landscape. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Centro Universitário FIEO – UNIFIEO (2000) and earned an MBA in Controllership from USP/Fipecafi (2005).
Has been the Chief of Legal Affairs, Ombudsman, Credit, and Corporate Governance at Mercantil since 2020, where she also worked as Investor Relations Officer until August 2021. Her main professional experiences in the last five years include a career in financial institutions, and holding senior management positions for the last six years. She has experience as a member of advisory councils and boards of directors. She graduated in Law from UFMG, holds an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-MG, and has a specialization degree in Economics and Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She is also certified in Risk Management in Banking by INSEAD and in International Business Law by the University of California/Irvine.
Has been a Director at Mercantil do Brasil since 2017, and is currently responsible for the Compliance and Risk Board – CRO and DPO. Her focus in the last five years has been on risk and performance, with experience in strategy management (planning, budget, and performance indicators / BSC), risk and capital management, internal controls, Compliance, and PLD. Before joining Mercantil do Brasil in 2001, she worked as an external auditor at Arthur Andersen, with experience in various sectors, especially telecommunications and steelmaking. She graduated in Business Administration from PUC/MG, completed an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-MG, has several specialization degrees in risk, performance tools, and GRC – Governance, Risk, and Controls, and has experience in finance courses at NYU – New York University.
Has been the commercial director of the Bank since 2022 and has been part of Grupo MB since 2020, serving as a director at Mercantil do Brasil Financeira S.A. Before that, he was the regional superintendent of Banco Olé Consignado S.A., having worked at the institution from 2004 to 2020. Mr. Anderson earned a degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Controllership from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG) and completed an MBA in Strategic Marketing Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
Has been a Director at Banco Mercantil within the Data Division since 2022 and has been a participating member of the IT Committee since 2021. Additionally, within the Mercantil Group, he served as Strategic Projects Manager from 2019 to 2020, Projects Manager from 2020 to 2021, and Business Intelligence Manager from 2021 to 2022, as well as working on the Projects Committee from 2020 to 2021. He served as Business Intelligence Manager at the Bank and led the restructuring of the Data and Analytics environment to cloud computing technologies. Prior to that, he coordinated technical and engineering teams in maintenance programs for naval automation systems for the Brazilian Navy.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors (Graduation with Distinction) from UFMG, holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering also from UFMG, and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-RJ. He holds a Harvard Business School Certificate in Business Analytics, Economics, and Financial Accounting with High Honors.
Mr. Rodrigo de Araújo Simões was re-elected as a Director at the Board of Directors’ Meeting held on May 7, 2024, and took office on July 1, 2024.
Has been a Director at Banco Mercantil within the Digital Channels Division since 2022, having previously served as Payment Methods Manager and Digital Channels and Payment Methods Superintendent at the Bank between 2021 and 2022. Additionally, he has been an Executive Director at Domo Digital Tecnologia S.A., a subsidiary of Banco Mercantil, since February 2023. Prior to that, he worked as a Product Owner and CX (Customer Experience) and Digital Manager at financial institutions, including Calcard Administradora de Cartões Ltda.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis and Development, holds an International Executive MBA, and is currently pursuing a Professional Master’s degree at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
Mr. Lucas Lopes Kubiaki was re-elected as a Director at the Board of Directors’ Meeting held on May 7, 2024, and took office on July 1, 2024.
André Rodrigues Horta was elected as a Director of Banco Mercantil at the Board of Directors’ Meeting held on April 28, 2026—with his taking of office pending approval by the Central Bank of Brazil (Bacen). Since 2021, he has been responsible for credit cycle management in his role as Credit Superintendent. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in products, analytics, and modeling, having participated in the development of private payroll loan solutions, FGTS-backed loans, payroll loan sales via WhatsApp (Mar Aberto), and the structuring of the Credit Business Unit, encompassing capabilities such as statistical/actuarial modeling and dynamic pricing. He has prior experience at institutions such as Stone and Sicredi.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from PUCRS and studied Statistics at UFRGS. He also holds a Postgraduate degree in Quantitative Methods from PUCRS, along with executive education from MIT and Insper.

As an executive of Grupo Mercantil do Brasil, he has solid experience in planning and monitoring the institution’s operations, including the business, operational, and administrative areas. As the Executive Vice President of Banco Mercantil do Brasil, he played a prominent role in the restructuring and redefinition of policies in areas such as Credit, Products, and Marketing. He coordinated the planning and strategic repositioning process of the institution in the market, including projects and programs for implementing the necessary organizational and cultural changes. He was responsible for the design and implementation of actions aimed at the development and expansion of the organization’s business. He led the process of sharing structures, processes, and commercial actions between Banco Mercantil do Brasil and Cia. de Seguros Minas Brasil, which led to gains in scale and business strengthening for both institutions. As an Executive Director, he was responsible for the overall direction of the Credit, Performance Management, and Human Resources areas.

He has been the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2011 and also operates in the companies within Grupo Mercantil do Brasil. As a career professional, he has been with the Group for over 50 years. As a businessman in the financial system, he held executive positions within Grupo Mercantil do Brasil. As Vice President of Banco Mercantil do Brasil, he shared decisions that led to the periodic review process of the institution’s strategic positioning in the market. As a member of the Superior Credit Committee, he shared responsibility for the analysis and granting of loans in cases of operations with significant values. As a Regional Director and Executive Director, he accumulated solid managerial experience in the commercial, operational, and administrative areas. He was the creator and one of the sponsors of the strategic repositioning decision of Mercantil do Brasil, a project that involved defining the mission, revising the commercial, marketing, and operational philosophies of the organization, as well as implementing the structural and cultural changes necessary to achieve the established objectives.
Has been a full member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil since 2014. He serves as the Coordinating Member of the Risk Management, Compliance, Conduct, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Thematic Committee, and the Institutional Performance, Investments, and Expenses Thematic Committee. He is also a participating member of the Legal, Contingencies, Audits, and Supervisory Bodies Thematic Committee; the Technology and Infrastructure Thematic Committee; and the Capital, Strategy, Human Resources, and Marketing Thematic Committee. A career professional, he has been with the Mercantil Group for 51 years, rising from an entry-level position to Executive Vice-President, a role he held from August 2008 to January 2015.
His primary professional experience over the last five years includes advising the Executive Vice-Presidency and performing duties inherent to executive leadership roles across the aforementioned companies. He currently operates within the following Mercantil Group companies: SANSA – Negócios Imobiliários S.A., Mercantil Administração e Corretagem de Seguros S.A., and Bem Aqui Administradora e Corretora de Seguros, Previdência Privada e Correspondente Bancário S.A. He holds a Technical Degree in Metallurgy from Colégio Batista Mineiro.
She has been an independent member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2002 – an alternate member from 2002 to 2011 and a sitting member from 2011 until the end of the term of office in 2022. She is a founding partner and manager of the law firm Martins da Costa & Araújo Sociedade de Advogados, established on 09/11/2009. She is a founding partner and manager of the company Lance Empreendimentos e Participações Ltda., established on 10/19/2000. She graduated in Law from the School of Human Sciences of the University FUMEC, completed in December 2005, and passed the examination of the Minas Gerais Bar Association in April 2006, registration OAB/MG 104,982. Specialization: Material and Procedural Labor Law. She is a lawyer with experience in Labor, Social Security, Commercial, and Legal Audits areas.
Has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil since 2024. He is a participating member of the Technology and Infrastructure Thematic Committee, as well as the Capital, Strategy, Human Resources, and Marketing Thematic Committee. He possesses extensive experience in the technology industry across general management, sales, business development, and operations, working alongside some of the largest global tech companies in Latin America.
Since 2023, he has served as CEO of Sigma DTS, a company in the technology services sector. Between 2020 and 2023, he worked at Google, leading the growth of Google Cloud in Brazil and partnering with thousands of clients on their digital transformation journeys.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), earned a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Systems Engineering from the same university, and subsequently completed an Executive MBA at the Coppead Institute of Administration of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). More recently, he specialized in Leadership and Strategy through the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and in Machine Learning Applied to Business through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was recently recognized as 2023 IT Executive by the IT Forum in the Sustainability Category.
Has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil since 2020, where he also serves as a member of the Statutory Audit Committee since 2023, and is a participating member of the Credit and Business Thematic Committee. He possesses over 15 years of experience in financial institutions, with a primary focus on the commercial division. He served as the Commercial Executive Director at Banco Mercantil until 2020, where he was responsible for restructuring the corporate banking segment. Currently, he is the CEO of Grupo PH, a company operating in the industrial logistics and handling sector for the steel, metallurgical, and mining industries across Latin America. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Faculdade Pitágoras.
He has over 30 years of professional experience as an executive and consultant, serving private and family-owned enterprises, the public sector, and non-profit organizations. Until 2018, he served as a Senior Partner and Managing Director for BCG (The Boston Consulting Group) in Brazil. Subsequently, until 2025, he was the Executive Vice President at Suzano, where he led Strategy, HR/People, IT, Digital, Communications/Branding, New Bio-businesses, and Suzano Ventures.
He was also an active member of the Strategy and People Committees at Suzano and Hospital Oswaldo Cruz. Currently, he is a Board Member and Coordinator of the People and Sustainability Committee at Mills, as well as a Member of the Advisory Board at Instituto Ayrton Senna. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from FEI and an Executive MBA (Trium MBA) from LSE/NYU/HEC.
Fiscal Council
She is a full member of the Fiscal Council and a participating member of the Credit and Business Committee, and previously served as an Executive Director at Banco Mercantil between 2014 and 2020. In addition to serving on the Bank’s executive committee, she held executive director positions at other Mercantil Group companies, including Director of COSEFI (Companhia Securitizadora de Créditos Financeiros) from 2022 to 2023, and SANSA (Serviços e Negócios Imobiliários S.A.) from 2020 to 2023. Furthermore, since 2020, she has been the Director and owner of AMC Consultoria Ltda.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – UFMG. She holds postgraduate degrees in Financial Management and Higher Education Methodology from UNA, and an MBA in Finance, Comptrollership, and Audit from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Additionally, she completed the Babson Program Business Seminar at Babson College (Boston, Massachusetts – USA), the Management Development Program at Fundação Dom Cabral, and the Core Training Program at Citibank.
He has been a sitting member of the Fiscal Council of Banco Mercantil do Brasil since 2020. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Mercantil do Brasil from 2019 to 2020. He worked at Banco Mercantil do Brasil as a service head, internal auditor, exchange manager, regional director, and executive credit superintendent from 1980 to 2005. He graduated in Business Administration from FUMEC-MG.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a specialist in tax planning, with over 15 years of experience as a partner in an accounting and consulting firm. He has previously served as CEO at Transgrãos and CFO at Vertical Investimentos. Currently, he serves as a Board Member at Grupo Vertical, Grupo PH, and other companies within the Agribusiness, Industrial, and Transport sectors.
Mr. Marcelo Rezende Amorim was re-elected as a full member of the Fiscal Council at the Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting (AEGM) held on April 23, 2026, with his new term pending approval of the election by the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN).
She served as an Executive Director at Banco Mercantil from 2008 to 2022. Her primary professional experience over the last five years includes leading product development and management teams for asset and liability products, retail banking services, and strategic partnerships, as well as steering multidisciplinary business projects and process optimization initiatives.
She was also responsible for customer relations through the Ombudsman office, including conduct and suitability management in the commercialization of products and services, and managing relationships with Consumer Protection Agencies. Additionally, she served for nine years as a Board Member of the Banking Self-Regulation Council at Febraban.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UFMG, holds a specialization in Strategic Financial Management, and an MBA in Marketing.
She is an attorney who graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB – São Paulo/SP) and the New York State Bar (USA). She practices in dispute resolution, with extensive experience in domestic and international arbitrations, mediation procedures, and strategic litigation, as well as in the prevention of potential disputes.
He served as a Director and full member of the Board of Directors at Mercantil Financeira S.A., and was also a member of both the Board of Directors and the Executive Board at Banco Mercantil do Brasil S.A. In addition to his leadership roles within the Mercantil Group companies, he holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculdade de Direito do Oeste de Minas.
Professional with over 40 years of experience in the Mercantil do Brasil Conglomerate. He joined MB on July 14, 1967, as a Clerk, with extensive experience. He has worked as Chief Accountant in branches, Inspector, Regional Branch Manager, Manager of the retail segment, and as Administrative and Service Manager of the branch network. Starting on October 1, 2012, he took office as Executive Director of Credit Management.
She served as Chief Administrative and Financial Officer (CFO/CAO) at Grupo PH Intralogística between May 2002 and November 2021, where she was responsible for the group’s entire administrative division, advising the executive board on strategic decision-making, action planning, and corporate direction. Between 2004 and 2008, she worked as an Administrative and Organizational Manager at Metalúrgica Amapá, and she served as a Member of the Fiscal Council at Sicoob-Copermec during the 2017–2019 and 2019–2021 terms. Currently, she is the founding partner of Solphi Ltda., a company focused on the purchase, sale, and negotiation of proprietary real estate properties, as well as management consulting activities.
She is a physician who graduated with a Medical Degree (M.D.) from the Faculdade de Medicina de Barbacena. She completed her Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). She earned her Board Certification in Ophthalmology from the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (CBO).
She completed a Clinical and Surgical Fellowship in Retina and Vitreous at Hospital São Geraldo/Hospital das Clínicas (UFMG). She holds both a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from UFMG. Currently, she serves as a Preceptor for the Ophthalmology Medical Residency Program at IPSEMG.
