Banco Mercantil is an issuing institution and also acts as a bookkeeping agent for its own shares.

Bookkeeping consists of registering shares in the name of their respective holders. The bookkeeping agent is the institution contracted by the company issuing shares to perform, in addition to the said registration, updating, coordination of corporate events, payment of dividends and interest on equity, as well as assisting shareholders whose shares are deposited with the bookkeeping agent.

Registration:

If you are a shareholder and your shares are deposited with the bookkeeping agent, you should keep your records updated. It’s simple and fast!

Just fill out and sign the form below and send it to the email (acionistas@mercantil.com.br) with copies of the following documents:

• Photo ID
• CPF (Brazilian Taxpayer ID)
• Proof of residence issued within the last 90 days (for individuals)
• Bylaws or articles of incorporation and proof of representation (for legal entities).

If you prefer, visit any Banco Mercantil branch with the documentation above to update your records.

Updating your records is important for obtaining information regarding shares, making transactions, and receiving dividends and interest on equity payments.

Please note that, for your convenience, dividends and interest on equity payments for your shares are credited to your bank account. When filling out the form, choose your preferred account since this is where you will receive your earnings.

Inquiries:

To inquire about key information regarding your shares (shareholder position, share transaction statement, payment notices, income statements), the request must be made through your registered email. Your registration can be updated following the procedures described above.

Trading:

Shares held with brokerage firms are immediately available for trading on the stock exchange. You can sell them whenever needed or when you identify a good opportunity.

However, shares held with the bookkeeping agent must be transferred to a brokerage firm to be traded on the stock exchange. Please note that trading can only occur after the completion of the transfer of custody request.

Receiving Earnings:

Dividends and interest on equity payments for your shares are credited to your bank account listed in your shareholder registration. Therefore, keep your registration updated and specify your preferred account since this is where you will receive your earnings. Your registration can be updated following the procedures described above.

Corporate Events:

All information about corporate events regarding the shares is disclosed by the issuer on the Bank’s Investors Relations website, and on the websites of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM (www.cvm.gov.br) and B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (www.b3.com.br).
